important, she was a fan of dance classes. At the age of 8, Britney attempted

because of her age. Britney was then recommended to Broadway's off-Broadway
show "Ruthless" where she played the title role for 2 years. At age
11 she was back in the running for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) and she
made it as a mouseketeer along with numerous stars of today (Justin Timberlake
and JC Chasez of *NSYNC , and Ryan Gosling). However, her biggest breakthrough
occurred in the mid-90s when she was signed as a Jive Recording artist. The
debut album of Britney Spears, "...Baby, was released in 1999. Britney

& a little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was destined to be famous
from a young age. Britney loved singing and was inspired by Whitney Houston and
Mariah Carey. After taking extensive dance and vocal lessons and appearing in
various shows and fairs, Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club
(1989) television show (1989-1994) at the age of aged eight, but was too young
to play the part. Britney relocated to New York with her mother and infant
sibling. She was a part of numerous TV ads and was an understudy for Natalie
